
I'm on a personal mission to learn how to make curry, not from a premixed jar. I need to progress beyond the premixed jars and into the land of cheaper, better, and slightly more authentic. This first attempt? FAIL. Edible, and tasty, and good-looking, but missing something. Not spicy. Not the kind of curry that hits you in the face and tells you what's real. And definitely not worth putting the recipe down. Perseverance is key.
